This painting was done on a Strathmore 400 series watercolor pad using pure Winsor & Newton watercolors. Strathmore offers a paper that includes acid-free, cold press professional paper that's perfect for lifting and scraping applications. I love working in several layers and Strathmore has provided a surface that won't peel up during the process. Paired with Winsor & Newton watercolor pigment, paintings are ensured a smooth, clean finish before being matted with a (unless otherwise specified in photos) white mat.
